Vanessa Molina-Council, President
Vanessa Molina-Council is serving her second term as President of the Martin County High School Band Boosters, bringing her passion for education and deep appreciation for the Tiger Regiment to the organization. Her son, Anthony, is a recent graduate who performed on clarinet, bass clarinet, and tenor saxophone, while her daughter, Chloe, continues the family’s band connection as a member of the Color Guard. Vanessa is a teacher at Citrus Grove Elementary School and was honored as the 2025 Martin County School District Teacher of the Year. She considers it a joy to support the band’s talented students and is committed to helping the program thrive.
Justin R. Council, Vice President
Justin Council serves as Vice President of the Martin County High School Band Boosters, helping support the organization’s leadership and continued success of the Tiger Regiment. His son, Anthony, is a recent graduate who performed on clarinet, bass clarinet, and tenor saxophone, while his daughter, Chloe, is a member of the Color Guard. As a member of the Florida Air National Guard, Justin brings experience in leadership, organization, and service to his role. He is proud to support the band’s students, staff, and families while helping strengthen the program and expand its presence throughout the community.
Dariann Velasquez, Treasurer
Dariann Velazquez is entering her second term as Treasurer of the Martin County High School Band Boosters, helping oversee the organization’s finances and support its ongoing efforts on behalf of the band program. As both an alumna and a member of a family with strong alumni ties, Dariann’s connection to the band extends across generations. Her continued involvement reflects her dedication to giving back to the program and helping today’s students enjoy the same meaningful experiences and opportunities that have made the band such an important part of her family’s story.
Amy Gozdzialski, Secretary
Amy Gozdzialski is serving her second term as Secretary of the Martin County High School Band Boosters, helping the organization stay organized and support the continued success of the band program. She is a proud band parent whose son, Kaleb, is a senior and clarinet player in the Tiger Regiment. Originally from Michigan, Amy is a dedicated nurse and busy mother of three who understands the importance of teamwork, service, and supporting students in their activities. Her own connection to music began when she played flute in middle school, making her involvement with the band program especially meaningful.
Marilyn Southwick, Board Member At Large
Marilyn Southwick, a teacher at Anderson Middle School, is serving as Assistant to the Director this year and as a Board Member at Large for the Martin County High School Band Boosters. She has also been a dedicated and heavily involved supporter of the band program since 2021. A proud Martin County High School alumna from the Class of 1996, Marilyn also performed with the Color Guard. Her connection to the program has continued as an alumna, band parent, and general supporter, allowing her to contribute a valuable combination of experience, history, and dedication. Her continued involvement reflects her commitment to supporting the Director, the Booster organization, and helping today’s students create meaningful memories through the Tiger Regiment.
